Catering Service Agreement

This Catering Service Agreement ("Agreement") is made on [DATE] between [YOUR BUSINESS NAME] ("Provider") and [CLIENT NAME] ("Client").

This agreement covers catering services for an event on [EVENT DATE]. The work, price and any deposit are: [DESCRIBE THE WORK, THE TOTAL PRICE AND ANY DEPOSIT].

The Provider will carry out that work for the Client on the terms below.

  1. 01Services and timing

Covers the services, setup and hours listed above for the event date and venue described.

  2. 02Deposit and balance

A non-refundable deposit reserves the date. The balance is due [NUMBER] days before the event.

  3. 03Cancellation

Cancellations within [NUMBER] days of the event are charged [PERCENT]% of the total. The deposit is non-refundable at any point.

  4. 04Venue access and setup

The client ensures venue access from [TIME] for setup. Delays to access shorten the service rather than extend the agreed hours.

  5. 05Events outside our control

If either party cannot perform because of events outside their reasonable control, they will reschedule where possible or refund amounts not already committed.

  6. 06Guest conduct and damage

The client is responsible for their guests. Damage to the provider’s equipment by guests is charged at replacement cost.

  7. 07Menu, headcount and dietary needs

The menu and guest count are as agreed above, including listed dietary needs. Final headcount is confirmed by [DATE] and is the minimum billed.

  8. 08Food safety and leftovers

The provider follows food-safety practice through service. For safety, the provider is not responsible for food handled or stored by others, or for leftovers taken by guests.

Both parties agree to the terms above.
