Cabinet Painting Service Agreement

This Cabinet Painting Service Agreement ("Agreement") is made on [DATE] between [YOUR BUSINESS NAME] ("Provider") and [CLIENT NAME] ("Client").

This agreement covers refinishing or painting cabinetry as described above. The work, price and any deposit are: [DESCRIBE THE WORK, THE TOTAL PRICE AND ANY DEPOSIT].

The Provider will carry out that work for the Client on the terms below.

  1. 01Scope of work

Covers the surfaces, number of coats and colours listed above. Substrate repair beyond minor filling is quoted separately.

  2. 02Deposit and payment

A deposit covers materials. The balance is due on completion.

  3. 03Paint and colour

Paint brand, finish and colour are as specified. Colour reads differently under different light; the client approves the colour before bulk application.

  4. 04Preparation and drying

Timings assume normal conditions. Humidity and temperature affect drying and can move dates.

  5. 05Protection and clearing

The provider protects floors, fixtures and furnishings. The client clears small items and valuables from the work area beforehand.

  6. 06Existing coatings

The provider is not responsible for the failure of existing coatings beneath new paint.

  7. 07Doors, spraying and finish

Doors and drawer fronts are removed, prepped and sprayed for an even finish, then rehung. Colour and sheen are as specified above.

  8. 08Cure time and use

The finish is dry to handle in [24 HOURS] but fully cures over [2–3 WEEKS]; the client uses the cabinets gently during that time to avoid marking.

Both parties agree to the terms above.
