Local Moving Service Agreement

This Local Moving Service Agreement ("Agreement") is made on [DATE] between [YOUR BUSINESS NAME] ("Provider") and [CLIENT NAME] ("Client").

  1. 01Scope of the move

    Covers moving the listed items between the addresses listed above on the agreed date.

  2. 02Rates and payment

  3. 03Items not moved

    Hazardous goods, cash, jewellery and irreplaceable items are not moved. The client transports these themselves.

  4. 04Damage and valuation

    The provider is liable for damage caused by its handling, up to [AMOUNT] unless additional valuation is purchased. Pre-existing damage should be noted before loading.

  5. 05Access and delays

    Quotes assume access as described: working lifts, available parking and the stairs described. Worse access may add time and cost, quoted before continuing.

  6. 06Client-packed boxes

    Boxes packed by the client are moved as-is. The provider is not responsible for the contents of boxes it did not pack.

  7. 07Hourly billing and minimum

    Local moves are billed hourly at [RATE] with a [2-HOUR] minimum, plus travel time. Time starts on arrival and ends when the last item is placed.

  8. 08Access and stairs

    The quote assumes the access described — parking, stairs, elevator. Long carries, extra flights or difficult access not disclosed may change the time and price.
